About this track
The busiest track on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the anchor of the region. Founded in 1972 as Magnolia Dragway. Runs the Busch Light King of the Mountain series on Wednesdays and an IHRA Track Championship Series on weekends, including the Summer Iron Man Challenge. Hosts the Gulf Coast DragFest and the Southeast Gassers Association Gulf Coast Nationals. Elevation is about 21 feet, the lowest in the region — worth knowing if you are correcting for air density.
Getting there
I-10 exit 31, south on Canal Road, cross the railroad tracks about a mile, left onto Racetrack Road.
Camping and RV parking
Unconfirmed. The track markets itself as a racecation destination with beaches, restaurants and casinos nearby, but we have not confirmed whether overnight pit parking or hookups are available on site.
